Science does not take place in a vacuum, but is embedded in an ethical and political context. Experts from science, politics and society present their views on current topics of science and research in lectures and discussions. The one-day event, tailored for doctoral students and postdocs, but suitable for everybody, addresses topics such as good scientific work, the role of genetic engineering in society, women in science, biodiversity and animal welfare. Science, Ethics, Politics is organized by the ZIBI-Graduate School and is free of charge.  See: >
